Ein neues Service in Zusammenarbeit mit Balu&Du und der Mobilitätsagentur

Das E-Lastenrad „Rad&Du“ gibt es  ab 7. Oktober 2020 bei Balu&Du gratis zum Ausleihen. Das Service wird gemeinsam mit der Mobilitätsagentur Wien  im Rahmen der Plattform grätzelrad.wien angeboten.

Balu&Du – Verein zur Förderung von Kommunikation und Spiel ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein der Wiener Kinder- und Jugendarbeit mit Geschäftssitz in Wien, Simmering.

Das Lastenrad steht am Standort der Senffabrik am Franz-Haas-Platz in den ehemaligen Mauther-Markhof-Gründen.  Die Senffabrik ist spezialisiert auf mobile Jugendarbeit. Gefördert wird das E-Lastenrad durch Smarter Together mit Mitteln der EU.

Projektpartner ist natürlich aus Sycube , das bei Smarter Together das E-Bikesharing am Simmeringer Spitz und am Wiener Zentralfriedhof managed.  Gegründet im Jahr 1995 in Wien, hat sich SYCUBE zu einem führenden Unternehmen im Bereich des e-mobility-sharings entwickelt. Dies sowohl für konventionelle Biles, e-bikes bzw. Pedelect, e-cargo-bikes und e-Scooter.

Nach einer ersten Monitoring- und Evaluierungsphase schien der E-Lastenrad-Standort am Simmeringer Spitz schwierig, die Zusammenarbeit mit den sympathischen Streetworkern von Balu & Du dafür ideal.

Das vielfältige Angebot von Balu & du reicht von Mitmachaktionen bis Beratungen für Kids und Jugendliche.  Auch gemeinsamer Sport- und Malaktionen oder Ausflüge gibt es. Einfach informieren – ev. gleich bei der nächsten Entlehnung des E-Lastenrads.

The „Bike & You“ is a e-pedelec and available free of charge from Balu & Du. The service is offered jointly with the Vienna Mobility Agency  as part of the grätzelrad.wien platform.

The streetworkers from Balu&Du are organized as a non-profit association of Viennese focusing on child and youth work with its headquarters in Vienna, Simmering.

The cargo bike is located on the “Senffabrik”- site at Franz-Haas-Platz in the former mustard fadctory on Mauther-Markhof grounds. The “Senffabrik” specialises in mobile youth work. It is supported by Smarter Together with EU funding.

The project partner is of course from Sycube, which manages the e-bike sharing at the Simmeringer Spitz and the Vienna Central Cemetery at Smarter Together.  Founded in 1995 in Vienna, SYCUBE has developed into a leading company in the field of e-mobility sharing. This includes conventional biles, e-bikes, pedelets, e-cargo-bikes and e-scooters.

After an initial monitoring and evaluation phase, the location of the pedelec at the Simmeringer Spitz seemed difficult, while the cooperation with the friendly street workers of Balu & Du is ideal.

Balu & du offers a wide range of activities, from hands-on activities to advice for kids and young people.  There are also joint sports and painting events and excursions. Simply inform yourself – perhaps the next time you borrow an e-truck.
