Informelle Zusammenarbeit von Bildungseinrichtungen für mehr Lebensqualität im Grätzel

Bildungsgrätzel Enkplatz

Am 26. Juni 2019 wurde das Bildungsgrätzel Enkplatz feierlich aus der Taufe gehoben. Bildungsgrätzel fördern die Zusammenarbeit von Bildungseinrichtungen in einem bestimmten Grätzel. Eine Koordinatorin der Stadt Wien unterstützt diese vielfach informelle Zusammenarbeit, weil sie erfahrungsgemäß zahlreiche Früchte trägt und zur Lebensqualität im Grätzel beiträgt. Das Fest wurde von der Musikschule organisiert.

Nun war auch der Enkplatz an der Reihe. Neben den Schulen im Simmeringer Zentralraum, der VHS Simmering, der Musikschule, der städtischen Bücherei, den Streetworkern vom Fair Play Team 11 und von Balu&Du und der Senffabrik war auch Smarter Together mit dabei.

Kids im Fokus

Smarter Together trieb einerseits die Sanierung bzw. Erweiterung der NMS Enkplatz voran und setzte auch sonst zahlreiche Aktivitäten, die sich gezielt an Kinder und Jugendliche und an die Bildungseinrichtungen im Grätzel wendet (Science Pool Workshops, Forschungssfest, Touchscreen Computer in der Städtischen Bücherei, Streetart, Enzis in der NMS, Beat the Street mit insgesamt über 9.000 TeilnehmerInnen u.v.m.).  Bis zum Ende der Projektlaufzeit, ist also auch Smarter Together dabei.

Informal cooperation of educational institutions for a better quality of life

On June 26, 2019, the EducationQuarter Enkplatz was solemnly inaugurated. Educational quarters promote cooperation between educational institutions in a particular urban area. A coordinator of the city of Vienna supports this often informal cooperation of institutions because, according to experience, it bears many opportunities and contributes to the quality of life in district. The happening was organised by the local music school.

Now it was the turn of the central district area around the Enkplatz square. In addition to the schools in the Simmeringer central area, the VHS Simmering, the music school, the municipal library, the street workers of the Fair Play Team 11 and Balu & Du and the Senffabrik, Smarter Together was also there.

On the one hand, Smarter Together initiated the smart refurbishment and expansion of NMS Enkplatz and also set many other activities aimed specifically at children and young people and at the educational institutions in quarter (workshops by the Science Pool, Research festival, touchscreen computer in the Municipal library, streetart, two “Enzi”-benches at the NMS-Enkplatz school, Beat the Street with over 9.000 participants and much more). Hence, Smarter Together will be present until the end of the project.
