Smart City und Kids

In der zweiten Septemberwoche 2019 besuchte Dana Ghafoor-Zadeh im Rahmen ihres Forschungsprojektes und Doktortsstudiums an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Freiburg Smarter Together in Simmering. Ihr Forschungsthema: Smart City und die Kinder.

Und ihre Forschungsfrage an Smarter Togehter: „Inwiefern sind Kinder konkret Teil im Smart City Projekt in Simmering?“

Denn ihr ist aufgefallen, dass Smarter Together in Wien Kinder in den Fokus des Projektes rückt.

Neben dem intensiven Briefing von Bojan Schnabl, Andreas Tschismasia und Julia Girardi seitens Smarter Together besuchte Dana für Forschungsinterviews noch einen Referenten des Wiener Stadtrats für Bildung, Integration, Jugend und Personal sowie die Direktorin der NMS 1 und den Direktor der NMS 2 am Enkplatz, eine Kollegin von der Gebietsbetreuung Stadterneuerung (GB*). Außerdem sprach sie mit Balu & Du, den Streetworkern im Bezirk.

Das nächste Treffen ist auch schon geplant: Am Tag der feierlichen Übergabe der Null-Energie-Turnsäle und der neuen Klassenräume am 9. Oktober zum Tag der Wiener Schulen.

Dana’s Forschungsprojekt reiht sich in die zahlreichen Forschungsprojekte, die Smarter Together in Wien zum Thema haben.

Kids and Smart City, a Research project in Freiburg

On September 13, Dana Ghafoor-Zadeh visited Smarter Together in Simmering as part of her research project and doctoral studies at the University of Education Freiburg. Her research topic: Smart City and the children.

And her key research question to Smarter Togehter: „How does Smarter Together make it to give a so important role to children in the Smart City project?“

After a thorough study of numerous comparative projects, it is clear that Smarter Together in Vienna is also a beacon project in Europe in this regard. In addition to the intensive briefing by Bojan Schnabl, Dana also visited the directress of the seondary school NMS Enkplatz for a research interviews, a colleague from the Urban Renewal Office (GB *) and from Balu & Du, the street workers in the district.

The next meeting is already planned: on the day of the ceremonial handover of the zero-energy gyms and the new classrooms on 9 October to the Day of the Viennese Schools.
